Toro y Moi live in Manila!

Yup! This half-Pinoy "chillwave" pioneer from Columbia, South Carolina will cool off our heads this coming February 15, 2012. Chazwick Bundick aka Toro y Moi, was born to a Filipino mother and to an African-American Father; and along with some of my favorites like Panda Bear, Washed out, and Neon Indian -- formulated the "chillwave" movement known to music fans nowadays. Since releasing two full-length albums under this pseudonym, Toro y Moi garnered some pretty good reviews both for his recordings...and live performances -- Want to prove it? Come with me! His first ever Philippine soil gig at the Hard Rock Cafe will just be for one night. So better check this date on your planner and let's see each other...chillin' out!
